Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what other manufactor's rims will fit my Clipper? (if any). I'd like to get some custom rims for her, knowing where to start would be a help. Thanks!

Scott

Several full-size Ford, 5-bolt Mustangs and full-size Mopar use a 4.5" bolt circle 15"x6" wheel which fits the Studebaker-Packard. The U-Pick yards used to be full of optional aluminum wheels which would look like a custom on your car.

You won't find too many 15 inch Mustang wheels because most were 14 inch.

Ford began offering styled steel (S/S) wheels in 1965 (Mustang).

Any 14 or 15" S/S wheel with the 4.50" bolt circle pattern will fit a 1957/58 Packard or Studebakers from at least 1953 thru 1966.

Ford 15" S/S wheels: Look for 1969/78 LTD, 1972/76 Torino/Mercury Montego, 1974/79 Cougar, 1977/79 LTD II, Thunderbird/Mark V.

1979/91 LTD/Crown Vic/Mercury Grand Marquis/Lincoln Town Car

Careful, some of these wheels have a 5.00" bolt circle.
