Here is an eBay distributor:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1947-52-Packard-8-Delco-Remy-Distributor-1110825-NR-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem35b4324ad3QQitemZ230656461523QQptZVintageQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

BUT NOTE that it has a female drive end.
My 2262 122 CID has a FEmale drivER end down inside of the engine. I know it has a FEmale drivER end because i put a srew driver in it and turned the engine and the screw driver turned.

So what years did Packard 8's use the FEmale drivER inside of the engine????

There is a whole lower shaft missing off that distributor, i believe at LEAST all of the 48-54 distributors (288 and 327) would drop in and work. I used my 53 327 dist first in the 50 288 and later in the 53 327.
