Hi all,
Can anybody tell me where the Trunk Lamp Switch on a Clipper Deluxe 1956 is mounted?

The trunk latch switch is a mercury switch contained in the lamp housing itself. Some have a steel ball instead of the mercury. I confess to being too lazy to repair them and am content to rummage around in the darkness. I'm sure someone has some tips on how to repair.

The steel ball in my 56 stops moving (because of rust??) and I take it out and shake it vigorously for a while till I can hear it move easily. This solves the problem for a few years.
