Hello from GA.
Still have my 54 two door Pacific on the rotisserie sandblasting and killing northern salt road rust. I have a problem identifing an opening in the firewall that was missing the part when I bought the car. A picture is included to depict the opening, it is the square hole in the passenger side toward the top of the firewall. Thanks, Carl

Heater/vent assembly. Complete unit uses both large holes and the water control valve fits in the small oblong hole to the side middle. On 51-4 cars because of the way assy mounts, if you had nothing on the engine side you may be missing some pieces on the interior side of car as well. Some photos are in the accessories section of the 51-4 service manual.
