The left rear window in my 48 Deluxe will not roll up or down -handle just spins. - So, I will need to look at the roller mechanism. Can someone give me directions to get inside - what has to come off - Thanks

Download the body section of SMhttps://www.packardinfo.com/xoops/html/downloads/servicemanual4650/Section4.pdf and door window information starts very early in the chapter. Decent instructions and pictures. 4 door rear window information starts page 14 but trim panel removal is very similar to that given for front door a bit earlier. If you have a 2 door then info is somewhat scattered around.

Instructions are very good....I did the front window on my station sedan last week. You might as well put new window channel in while you have the mechanism out. Sure works nice and is tight since I did that. Good Luck with your project, I enjoy reading your posts. Regards, Jeff P. / MN
