2014 Barrett-Jackson

Some snap shots of some of the lovelies I saw at Barrett-Jackson this past Saturday in Scottsdale. The weather was picture perfect and the venue was magnificent. BJ and the City of Scottsdale worked together improving venue at Westworld. Much expansion noted. This auction will be remaining here in the Valley of the Sun for many years to come. Quite the show if one asks me. Give me a few minutes to post several sets of pics.

Has the Marmon V16 crossed the block yet? If anyone is watching when it does I'd appreciate knowing the selling price.

Here it is it sold during the 'Salon Selection' segment on Saturday evening for $660,000 (includes 10% buyers premium)

The dashboard in the Marmon looks like a dump truck.

I don't like it.

I remember how much trouble Ken Fahnestock had with his Marmon so I'll take the Packard 12 or the Caddy.

Although when it was running right second gear was pretty impressive.

Thanks gangster for providing the links to the gavel prices. Roughly, there is another near 20% to acquire the auto still. Buyer's fees to BJ and 7.95% to the State of Arizona, City of Scottsdale and Maricopa County. Oh, then a bit more to trailer it home.
