Other more familiar with Henney can probably fill in more blanks but the motor number indicates it came from a 1940 120 chassis and the model number from the Henney book would indicate a 40 1940 model 9 Landaulet 1 combination use (hearse/ambulance) T thrift (essentially an unoptioned basic model)

I suspect that would be what your average small town funeral home would order. I remember where I grew up an early 50s Cadillac hearse doubled as the town ambulance.
