can anyone tell me where I can find replacement coils for my 34 standard 8 dual coil packards?
the coils that came out are Niehoff UN-170
the size of these coils are 2.14" diameter and only 5" tall top to bottom.
thanks for your help
Barry

1933 and 1934 Eight and Super Eights had a very unique ignition system. I'm assuming your looking for the authentic OEM type equipment.

The only source is Bob Connolle, advertises in the Packard Club monthly newsletter - he's been providing them for a decade or more, taking over the former Larry Justice tooling after Larry passed. The package is expensive, excellent duplicate of original equipment, superb quality. I'd guess that a very large majority of all the 1933 and 1934 Eights and Super Eights on the road are using them. His package includes the coils, caps, acorn nuts, primary and secondary leads, and the cast coil base and data plate.

I think someone has replaced the coils previously, the ones that came out are a Niehoff Part number UN-170.
I think the small size rules out many possible replacements.
Do you have a contact number Bob Connelle
