Hi Guys,

'54 Patrician here, I noticed a significant leak coming from the passenger side tube and connector that goes into the window lift reservoir from the firewall, as the window makes it's way right to the top of the track.

I'm probably dreaming here to think I can get a NOS part from the usual sources, but it would be helpful if one of the more knowledgeable members could accurately identify this part for me so I know what to ask for.

Not sure I am following which piece you are asking about. IIRC, the hose connects from the steel tube & fitting behind the kickpanel directly to cylinder in your car. If leaking when window all the way up and pressure maximum, then possibly loose fitting or cracked hose.

Find the group number pointing to the item you need and go to 48-54 parts book section 30 or 31https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/article/view.article.php?140 Look up the group number and find the specific part number of the item for your model car. Hoses are mostly generic replacements any more and can possibly even be made locally at a hydraulic shop --- providing the fittings & hose are small enough to fit inside the rubber conduit cover between door jambs.

If it is the actual metal tube, you may have to just make that using steel tubing and fittings from a local parts store. If it is the hose or cylinder, check with Kanter or Max Merritt and if they don't have it, possibly one of the restoration specialty places will or else made locally.
