It’s so hard to tell but is your car for sale still? My phone number is 479-244-9221. I’m looking for a very nice accident free, no bondo car with no damaging rust. If yours is like this, please call me! Thank you.

Not my car, but found this on Hemmings someone may like:

I've been looking for a Custom Eight off and on for some time but but the insane cost of shipping cars up to Canada it would probably not be worth it for me by the time I'm all done.

Note the lines zip-tied to the chassis and the interior wear, especially the spotting all over the headliner and those odd looking nubs on the back of the front seat. Not sure what all that is about. Also looks like something is up with the wiper.

Thanks, Ozstatman! These will help. The photo of all the parts is a big help. This gives me some good approximate dimensions. I know the OD of the pipe is 1.5 inch. Based on that, it looks like the rubber hoses are about 3 inches each and the “legs” of the steel pipe are likely around 4 inches. It also helps to know that you were able to make it work with a 90 degree bend.

All easy parts to get.

Yes Mike (Tobs), humanpotatohybrid is right, PMCC maintained a very strong connection to the music industry. Starting with experimental jukeboxes on chain-driven trucks before the 1st world war,

Nope. The organ company actually predates the car company and I think also Packard Electric.

Likewise as far as I’m aware that Packard family had no connection with the others.

Interesting story, there is a very fancy and expensive organ in the Crescent Hotel, Eureka Springs, Arkansas USA which was custom made for the Packard family (though not a Packard organ). This organ was made in Germany and was planned to be shipped, with its creator riding along for delivery, on the maiden voyage of the Titanic. But thankfully it was not completed in time! So the automotive Packards we know were certainly fans of organs, enough to buy an elaborate German organ.

I just happened to be watching the end of the Red Sox game and getting the measurements on this bushing when I saw the recent post.

ID = 7.50
OD = 8.75
length = 7.50

The bushing has a #25 stamped on it.

Have not checked McMaster & Carr website yet but I will later.

Shortly after I started renting a parking Spot for one packard, the landlord proudly showed me this organ that he recently bought. Is there any connection to our Packards?

Neat -- but for that money I could buy a few "real" Packards...
