Have to fab another transition piece.
Something wrong with this motor. Was the r.d motor And it is a right side motor. But worked for left. Ford motor going in . My set screws for Packard gear. We're loose.. so will have to stake them. The new adapter that goes on motor. Going to put a roll pin in And set screws.

1954 Caribbean and 1953 Clipper Deluxe. Just spotted on FB Marketplace. Rough unrestored but Carribean looks doable. Body looks pretty good from what I can see in the photos. Package deal, only $4k for both cars. Ad states Caribbean is a '53 but it is definitely a '54. Wisconsin:

1948 Super Eight Convertible Victoria for sale on EBay

Saw this today and thought it looked interesting. Someone apparently tried to update the appearance of the car with 23rd series side trim and 1952 "bottle openers" on the rear quarters. Car certainly needs a lot of work, but definitely doable. Worst part appears to be the floors, though that is typical with a convertible, particularly a bathtub model.

Looks like an incredible deal if the car is really as nice as it looks in the photos: https://www.ebay.com/itm/276478469814?hash=item405f66a6b6%3Ag%3Amx4AAOSwD%7EJmPjrA&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5337650957&customid=&toolid=10049

Well, the engine was built by Chrysler. And the last Imperials were not that much different from the New Yorker series. I've heard that the 1976-1977 New Yorker was nothing more than a 1975 Imperial with slightly different trim.

Illini for including your '41 120 Convertible Coupe in the Registry.
Big surprise was to see a 356 engine in your '41 120, hadn't seen that done previously. Plus I've deleted the duplicate Registry entry to maintain the integrity of the Registry.

1940 120 extended rear bumper
|
||||

Just popping in

There is a 1940 Packard 120 sedan convertible in the attached. The bumper extends well beyond what I think would be necessary for a factory luggage rack. Hopefully those of you who are experts in this era can tell me: 1) why would there be a longer bumper bracket?
2. The owner says he bought from a family who's parents owned a Packard dealership, and was always told it came that way from the factory. Was something like this ever offered as an option from Packard? Thanks in advance for helping a rookie!!
