I looked for about three hours for the same rivet for my 901. I finally gave up and made 20 from 3/8" brass rod. It took less time to make them than I spent looking for them. See my blog post number 30. After making several and measuring with a digital calipers I made a template that I could hold up to the side to measure my progress. The first one took about 15 minutes but the last ones were less than 10 minutes. I was using a small jewelers lathe. As you can see they vary, but they are basically out of sight except for the head.
Good Luck

I'm not sure what type of plastic it is. If you had a small piece or section that you test with you could try soaking in strong coffee or tea.

The file you provided points to your hard drive. Could you please re-post? I think you browsed to the file and selected it, but did not attach it.
You will need to 1) "BROWSE" to the file's location, 2) "Select" the file, and then 3) "Attach File" the file. Thanks

To All;
Thanks for the input and suggestions. I had tried the hammer both on the nut on the bolt and on the sides without any give on the left side before I posted. The right side came apart with a good size ball peen hammer on the nut. I'm going to see what type of pullers I have and if push comes to shove, Harbor Freight has a puller for $15. If it still doesn't want to come loose, I'll try heating. It's nice to know about the Bijur line. This is the last fitting on going through the oiling system.

I'm in the middle of checking the Bijur system on my 901. I need to take apart the ball joints on the tie rod. I'm certain that the brass dust shields will get damaged when they are taken apart.
Where can one buy for the brass shields and is it possible to get replacement ball stud and ball socket for the car?

You don't say where the hinge is cracked, but it might be able to be welded. If it is an area where the pin is the hole would need to be reamed.
By mechanism if you mean door latch, I found one for my '32 using Google on Ebay. This might also be a source for a hinge. Good Luck

Bogging down at higher RPMs can be a sign of a plugged exhaust system. Usual causes could be a heat riser valve not opening or a partial collapse on the inside of a muffler.

The "No Smoking" sign appears to indicate that some type of ordinance was involved - maybe from the city's fire department.
I also see that to keep the environmentalist happy, this must have been an Eco-Friendly garage as evidenced by the solar lighting (light panels in the roof) and lack of electric light fixtures). LOL
