Thanks O.D. There doesn't seem to be much of an "audit trail" out there on this subject but maybe something will pop up now that the question has been asked ?

Correct Spotlight Model for '34 1101 Coupe

Does anyone know the correct model number and manufacturer for the Lorraine Spotlight shown in the Accessories page of the 1934 model brochure ?
I initially thought the maker was Appleton, but the more I look I'm thinking it could be Unity ?? Also, have NO idea about the Model #, or if the '34 unit could spand a couple of years on either side of 1934 ( interchangeable ?).
Thanks for any help.

And Thank You HH56. I may never have my car judged, except maybe in the driver/tour category, yet I don't want to install something that is incorrect for the date and car....And figuring out what those legitimate options or "accessories" are is difficlt. Like the piece out of the 1934 Accessory page of the Packard Service publication that O.D. included, shows only a smaller hingepin mirror and only a Lorraine style spotlight, yet other styles and manufacturers apparently were installed as acceptable options ( but so darn difficult to identify today !). I'll check out Classic Accessories, and yes, like you "inquire" makes me nervous too !!
Thanks again.

Thanks O.D. I'm jealous (again). You are right-on about the sidemount mirrors and the rear view mirror too. Makes me a nervous wreck to be on the road with only those mirrors to rely on. I'll keep looking !

Thank you again O.D. for my ongoing education ! Part of which is eliminating the word "Standard" when identifying my car !! Eight (8) it is !!
Which goes to confirm that without guys like you, guys like me will keep on making mistakes !
You are appreciated for all of it !

OKay. Got it now. No running board lights for my 1101 Standard 8 !
Thanks O.D., I shoulda came here 1st !!

And if I may.....Is there a difference in size or layout for the instrument panel
between the Standard 8 and the Siper 8 and the 12 ?
My Std 8 bezel has a beat down flat spot in it (no idea why. how. ext) and I have just found one on the internet but it is specifically labeled for the 12. In comparing pictures of the two I can't see a difference.

There appears to be a spot for a running board light on the frame just above the running board itself (same on each side of car), but I can't find any information about such an option. Can anyone shed some light on this for me ?
Thanks !
