Quote:

That 1937 Convertible Sedan in LA went through a 10 year restoration and you would think that they would:
1) Copy the spelling from the old data plate correctly - it is Earle C. Anthony. Also would have thought the number of the car would be 4 digits and not 3.
2) Find the correct, metal radio delete plate and not some wood-grained insert.
3) Figure out how much they are asking for the car. Title says $139K and the body of the ad says $135K.

Hi Roger,

I just HATE repro patent plates, always makes me suspicious of the vehicle. Does displaying the original, with whatever warts it might have, so detract from the vehicle?

In response to your comment expecting a 4-digit sequential production number, Detroit-made senior cars in 1937 began at 201.

I don't know squat about the V12 engines but this seems a bit pricey

On those 5 Packards, I'd love to be able to see them in his pictures. He shows us a bunch of mannequins, signs, and old parts but only shows a couple of cars.

Is that a realistic value on a V12?

Now here's a great deal on a 37 115 sedan

Well maybe it's to good to be true:
