... to most of you, but a very cool thing happened tonight.

While watching the latest episode of Fast & Loud "The Shorty Short VW Bus", they were back at French Lake Auto in Annandale, MN. This is the same yard I picked up my '53. As Richard was driving through the yard, my car was noticeably visible in the line of Packards, in two shots. It's the bright gray one in the middle of the pack, pretty easy to spot. As the guys are all wearing hoodies and jackets, I'm guessing the episode was shot in late spring. The employee they're speaking with is the son of the owner who started FLAP back in the 50s. This guy took a pic of me, my son, and the Packard on the trailer, and it's on their Facebook page too.

I just thought to share this with you all.

Warm regards!

That's the one! As can be seen in the photo... that Patrician pretty much ate up the entire trailer. One the way home with the car, it had heads turning, especially older guys. The bikers especially seemed to appreciate seeing this behemoth.

I'm aiming to complete the car in time for the 2016 Minnesota Street Rod Association's Back To The 50s show. It's all-inclusive to all vehicles manufactured up to June 1964.

That's a good goal, in my humble opinion.

Warm regards!
