it would be nice if it was a steve williams, he had the parts to do it.
Steve didn't do the conversion. Supposedly, the first owner had the dealer do it.

In August 2008 I drove a nice 1956 400 that had been converted to manual shift with overdrive. Do not recall any problems of interference with the clutch and power brake pedals. I do recall that it would move. The car was in a small town in the Central Valley of California. I forget the name. The owner was needing to sell it because of a pending layoff. He was a pilot for UPS. Nice guy facing some difficult times. I often wonder what happened to he and his family and that Packard.

cal at custom auto knew the guy,,he is still around, lives in corona,,he is in the 2007 pi roster.,,

his name was in glove box,,,with pack pi card, must of showed at a pi meet. and there was a custom auto paper stating how to care for the car no, date on it..

also ,,on the carib, with std,,,cal sold it to steve williams,,,which that car is in ohio.

i am thinking painting it, 3 tone,,,phaeton color theme.

Same CID as the Exec but the 5642 came from a Clipper Super. Exec would be a 5672 or 5677. Clipper Super had a 2 barrel instead of the Exec 4 barrel.
