Peter Packard
G'day all, Here is a pic of the pointer which I have attached to each of my Packards without a factory item. It saves removing the starter or trying to stretch your neck on the late thirties Juniors to see tne mark under the starter (removing the two inch cover). Good luck and best regards Peter Toet

Once had a Lancaster bomber pass over my house. What a marvelous sound the 4 Merlins made!

Those who attended the Packard Centennial in Warren, OH in 1999 had the opportunity to see and hear a running Packard/Merlin. I don't recall who owned it and brought it, but it sure was a pleasure.

About 1 hour 20 minutes to go to end of auction and it's now at $5K - If you're bidding or going to bid - Good Luck.

I, as well, am going to have to tackle my timing soon. That sounds like a very good solution to reduce the number of times the starter needs to be removed. Pictures would be great.

Here's another military Packard (1942) that can be seen running around Ohio. (attachment)

Sorry about the delay, but yes, that is the correct web address, I have no way of knowing if the Packard is still there. I believe it was a future project for the museum...I don't think it's for sale, but I was over joyed at least to see someone had kept such a unique/military Packard piece. Hubbard, Ohio is a little ways south of Cleveland, Ohio.
