We got three feet of snow in Southern NH by the ocean.. windblown all over the place but the places where we could get a good measurement was around the three foot mark.
Some parts of the yard appear to have a dusting while other parts are just crazy..

If you are using your old seat covers as a template, which is usually the case, make sure that you add two inches all around to compensate for the shrinkage that occurred to the old fabric. And you'll need to allow a little more for the welting as mentioned about 1 1/2 inches folded over either a fiber cord or in later cars, a piece of nylon that looks like extra heavy fishing line. The fabric is 62 inches wide in most cases.

I'm close to 60 and saw my first Clipper when I was around 6 years old (1960) It was a '56 if I remember right. Then when I was in Jr High there was a '51 for sale in front of a factory that I walked by every day on the way to school. (1969) It ran and the owner wanted $100 for it. Dad saw it one day as we drove by and said "nope you can't even buy tires for something like that.." As it turned out a classmate bought it a few years later! That and another one. I don't know if he ever got them running. I've since moved away from my hometown. I have a "55 Clipper that needs lots of work. I'm doing work on it as time allows.. this past Summer time didn't allow at all..LOL

another suggestion.
Use a product called Evapo-Rust. Clean the penetrating stuff off first the soak a rag in Evapo-Rust and cover the nuts and bolts. Evapo-Rust is an enzyme that eats only rust and nothing else.
I used it on my wife's Subaru Impreza that had rusty disc brake slides. It worked like a charm. No beating on the pins, no torches just Evapo-Rust. You can find it at most auto parts chains, Auto Zone has it. Just make sure that the rag stays soaked in the stuff and the enzymes will do the job.

Could the radiator cost way more than expected because of the surge in copper prices?? I have to have mine done too.. it looked like a lawn sprinkler the last time a ran the engine..
