Randy,

Seems there's a bit of low-rider blood running through your veins Senor.

Eric,

I'd measure Wade's but, as the body is currently 25 miles south of the chassis, the margin for error is a little more than you'd want!

Greetings I am the new kid on the block how do I go about posting a picture of my 52 on the site?

johnlaw,

Save a copy of the pic or pic's you want to use on your computer, there are size constraints but I don't know what these are as mine usually work OK. Then when you're posting or adding your Packard to the Owner Registry for instance, click in the browse option, go the file you've saved your pic's in, and add them in one at a time, should work. Someone with more computer savvy may have a better explanation but if I can figure it out myself then you can.

G'day johnlaw,

Great site here as you've found. Could you please add your Packard to the Owner Registry with a pic and known history? Also please add your details in the Members Directory, which is under Packard Directory?

Eric,

Don't know how feasible this is, but if you're going to lengthen the steering column, how about putting a universal joint in as part of the solution? Might help with providing an optimum height for the steering wheel in your set up.

Well I just thought I would share what I have been tinkering with the last few weeks. I basically ripped out a very old tool bench, built a new one that is ladder framed with 2x4s (16" on center), with a 3/4" sanded plywood top, and lag bolted to the wall. It's 16' long and gives me ton of counter space. Also gives me lots of under bench space for the compressor, tool box, and the office file cabinents that are filled with the small parts of the Packard........

Kev,

Plenty of space for now, that is. Isn't there some law, like the one about computer speed doubling every so many years, but pertinent to disappearance of space in garages and garage bench tops?
