What's it used on? Looked thru my Motors manuals back to 36 and don't see that number listed.

O_D: Probably won't solve anything for the database import you guys are trying to set up so if Kev says it won't help & a waste, then no need but otherwise was thinking if you can post one page as a PDF at good quality might be interesting to see what OCR can do & at least make the original format searchable.

I converted that jpeg to pdf and ran it. Was able to find some names but not others. Since the original was a bit fuzzy & skewed, the conversion was probably not optimal for character recognition and a better start might give better results.

Thinking lights 48-9 Champion but the body had some custom work for the parking lens followthru on the fender top. Maybe a Metropolitan but also maybe a narrowed Stude front clip.

Not knocking the project, but just curious what benefits or what one is expecting or could derive from the info after the work. Aside from curiosity of seeing if buildings still there or what business the address is currently, is there anything else that could be found out?

How long?

When 6v cars were the norm & about all that was available, it was common to see those batteries replaced by 8v batteries for easier starting. Now 12v seems to be in fashion in those cars for that reason and a couple of others.

Was just on a website claiming the lightest and smallest 16v battery & will fit in a conventional mount. Apparently 16v is used by racing crowd, but how long before someone will want one in a hard starting 12v car and start asking for instructions as to what needs to be changed to make it happen.

For those prices, one could even afford a Tar Topper with 4 sides for their Optima.

There's a bit on the AAC forum. From what little there, sounds like prices were pretty low.

Not sure which part of the Montana midget suffered the most indignity. The Studebaker the lights appear to have been taken from or the Packard whose status & station (& grill position) were so lowered--or whatever it was that was so changed..

Interesting question and I hope someone has a definitive answer since the parts book doesn't list any trim code for wheels. What's a 60% black? My current Caribbean HT was & is red-- a Patrician I had earlier was body color, blue. I believe both to have been original.

While I know brochures have a lot of artistic license in the illustrations, looked thru my 55 & 56 they pretty much all show body color. In addition, there were a few of what appear to be actual pictures of a couple of 55 Patricians in one and those wheels were also painted body color.
