Clutch adjustment 38 V127

The clutch on my V12 does not engage until it is less than 1/2
inch from the top of its travel. It does not slip or chatter this usually means you need to loosen the clutch adjustment rod so you have more free play. When you do this the clutch does not engave properly and the gears grind when you shift gears. Is this an indication of the clutch disc being worn out? I do not hear the throwout bearing making any noise at either adjustment point. I think the pressure plate is ok.
Any ideas what is going on?

I found 4 bolts holding the frame to seat rails. They are 5/16 by about 1 inch long. I removed them but there is still something holding the frame from coming out. I looked under floor boards and found two bolts on each side of frame Tried removing these but evidently you have to put a backup wrench
on the head of the bolt. Cannot see head of bolt because that rail is obstructing my view. Any idea how to get to the heads of these bolts? I think these four bolts are the ones that must come out but not sure.

I have raised up on the seat adjusting lever and it feels like it is releasing. Have lubricated the cog wheels on each side of seat with penetrating oil. Had a friend get in car with me and almost shoved our feet through floor boa4ds and cant get the seat to move. Looks like the seat should move back about 1 inch Any ideas about how to move seat back. It will not move in either direction.

I have a 41 120 and fought vapor lock car alledgedly had a nos new pump on it. I ordered rebuild kit from then and now automotive installed and still vapor lock

Put six volt ac pump sold by great pla8ns Packard on car r8ght in front of rear axle with filter before pump. Ran wirinv through toggle zwitch on dash to ign switch. Took all guts out of pump
Xcept gaskets. Made block off plate and also took out pump actuating arm. Pump on engine has fuel flowing through it but is a dummy. My vapor lock problems are over. The toggle switch
Is a safety feature.

Guys

The key thing to remember is make sure the bore size of the replacement is the same as the orig8nal. I have a 41 120 and the bore siz3 is 1 inch diameter there are a lot of units out there that will work.
