Please move this to "General". I was in the wrong group again when this thought hit me.

Thanks for all the answers so far. It's nice to know your age and when I'm being looked up to, or talked down to...

Sure this has been done to death. But we are all getting older and more and more forgetful. You may not have picked up on my subtle comment in a previous thread, but I just turned 40. Been driving classics since I was 17. I have vehicles from the '40's, '50's, '60's, '70's, '80's, '90's, &'00's.

So, just for grins and giggles; show your true age. Photos are not necessary! Some of us have delicate retinaes and can't be subjected to such visions!

So for the record: name, Thomas. age, 40. internal combustion contraptions, 15.

NEXT?

P.S. The 6 volt GMC performed flawlessly and our unicycle team came in 1st place out of 50 parade entries. All kids are 12 years old and under!

What the hell does this have to do with my "car curtsy"?

Didn't know this was the WB!

I have been laughed at for years for continuing to run 6 volt in my cars/trucks. I had a 1948 Chevrolet truck when I was 17. (just klicked 40 on my odometer) My 1949 GMC 250 still runs 6 volts. I spent more time and money finding the correct AM tube radio so I could enjoy one of the few option/luxury items offered at the time.

My wife and I are coaches on our daughters unicycle team and will be using that same GMC truck today in the Easter parade. Sure hope that "troublesome" 6 volt doesn't let me down!

Each and every one of our classics has their own attributes and I'm thankful to own then and use them for the intended purpose.

Have a great day everyone!

T&J

I did. It was suspended from the ceiling in my shop for 7 years at least... I tossed it about 3 months ago when I shut down my business due to my wifes Breast Cancer. I have just so much room to store things.

I would have donated it happily to you! Sorry... Yes I did price a new one. It is directly in front of the sterring wheel; the new one I found. The same steering wheel in front of the seat I had re-upholstered... see where this is going?

Glad you like the truck... Now please go directly to eBay and place your bid! Be sure to type "1957 Dodge COE" into the search bar and hit "Buy it now!" It will look Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr8 in your driveway!

My Packard will get the same interesting story, I asure you!

Here is one of our other rides...

I sure wish there was an "I'm being sarcastic" button on 'Puters! I meant no disrespect! Just some friendly banter. I will not be able to answer many questions till I have the car here at my home. I know the basics: It seems to have all power options except "cool breeze" AKA air conditioning.

I read here some where that the glass fuel filter in line to the carb was not correct? Is this true? It sure looks like it is supposed to be there. Mine has it just like the one I read about...

Attached is a photo of my last resto: I hope it doesn't offend anyone.

I will be more than happy to share that info. I did notice the numbers above the heater. Was kinda curious why those were there... I still don't have it here.

Thanks!
