With that photo you can't make out the catwalks. Headlights, fender parking lights, hood lover and bumper lead to a 40 Darrin.

Howard, does the governor have no/nc terminals? I would think that's the only way you could make a wrong connection at governor. Is governor internally grounded?

As Howard and David said, not a big concern and a fairly easy fix if needed. Three on a tree is like riding a bike, you don't forget the technic no matter the slop. I actually prefer the column shift, but that's what I'm comfortable with. I'm sure you would quickly adapt. Nice looking Packard.

They lack the ability to adjust spark timing in relation to ngine load and only work on RPM.
