Packard V8, I did not notice any packard in your pic. All I saw was an attractive young lady.

I'm quite sorry. I did not read the description. When I first found that pick it just listed as packard water pump under a yahoo shopping page.

That was another option I was thinking of. We have used them in the past.

What are your guys suggestions? I saw that Kanter sells a new pump but in the pics it looks like it is one cast piece. Mine has a removable center (the actual pump) I do see that Max Merrit sells a rebuild kit also. My casting has no damage and I would to keep it as original as possible. The rebuild kit looks pretty simple and easy to do.

Mal, that is a 27 Model T touring with a 29 Model A frame and grill shell. I took 2" out of the grill shell. It also has a 48 AB8 Flathead and 3-spd overdrive Merc tranny. You can also see in the background my 288 52 packard and my Sun engine anayler and a murray pedal car. The dash is the one out of the 55 clipper And that is only the right side of the shop haha!

The block number is 5567.

Each of the pistons have handwritten on the boss above the wrist pin 3572. Where the pistons made in matched sets or is this something that may have been done after the factory?

I will check on that. I remember when I bought the car I researched the numbers and it was a 352.
