8s & su8s - 33-36 - same
12s - 33-39 - same exp for the colm shift

Have to do some digging but THINK the 32 3 spd had a diff case but guts were the same.

Best CLASSIC CAR TRANS there is. There is, or was, some DUESENBERGs out there that were converted to this trans.

Interesting Note is VLCHEK removed their logo from the open ends in PACKARD rolls yet the hammer had a VLCHEK Sticker on the handle. Figure that one out.
Almost the same thing for the jacks used on the '32-6 12s. They were purchased from WALKER and did not have the WALKER name plate as other WALKER jacks of the same model.

Rev. A - 9/4/13

Tim - Ever do a RATE test on these springs? Have tested 4 so far:

150 @ 7/8
168
179
214

The 150 is what came out without shim. Thinking this is why shims r called out - so u can take a 150 and take it to the 214+ spec.

Just hit me what the SHIMs r 4. Adjusting the Drag Link back/forward to align the straight Str Whl with straight Wheels/Tires. Guessing the Shims have nothing to do with sping tension.

Im still diging thru my stuff trying to find what the factory said.

Found the Factory setting for a '34 in the SERVICE LETTERS.
States bottom the spring out and back of 1,1/2 turn. NO listing for spring rate
.

Know where the adj spec is for the Drag Link for a 34? Ive seen it somewhere.
Gets adj. via shims, 1/8 - 1/16 - 1/32, which r called out in the parts book.
