51-54 Service manuel page 10 and 11 says to remove transmission.I am lucky to have my own 2 post lift so it might not be that hard. I can borrow a trans jack so I might just pull it out . Is their a front seal in trans or other seals to replace if I take it out?

You have to drop the transmission? I thought you drop the oil pan. Anyone near Tampa fl that has done this?

I have B & M trick shift in my 53 and it is fine. Also I still have 6 volt pos ground no problems. One thing is I hope you did not use the Synthetic Fluid. I was told to use the reg fluid only, not synthetic. Just a thought.
