This is what I have a 39 Bantom and a 49 Packard Stright 8.

Planning on ending up with something like this.

Also, I'm located in North Texas if anyone has anything there willing to part with.

I know the top end is a little rough but...
Can it not be decked cylinders bored maybe even sleeved?
Everything in the crank case was coated in a half inch grease and after a quick clean look pretty good.

All thoughts ideas appreciated.

Looking for a oil pan just to start with.
water pump. could i put an electric eater pump and fuel pump on?
Damper. Larger cam? would like to relocate the oil filter and upgrade to screw on type. ultimately would like to put a turbo on it.
any ideas help advice?

also would the 52 288 have had sleaves?
mine looks as if it does.

I have a 52 288 and want to rebuild it and have it produce a little more power and excitement. any ideas or suggestions? what can it be bored out to, cam upgrades... lifters...? I would ultimately like to put a turbo on it. Please don't hate.

The crank case also has numbers 4 11 52. would that be the date of manufacturing?

there is what apears to be a large upper case I after the numbers also it has the Thunderbolt head.

Just bought my first engine trans.
I have no idea what is... has Thunderbolt on head and K221665 stamped on left side of block. Any help and info would be greatly appreciated.
