Got my BTV back rebuilt my brakes and I've been enjoying my 55 400 all week. The post office found my btv Ed Strain rebuilt it and it seems to function well. I've read alot about the lack of travel on rebuilds and now that's the only issue. I currently have 3500.00 into this runner driver and the next part is the power windows, hoses for the heater that leak and the wipers.

Im a rat rodder by nature the last 30 years but ive always enjoyed owning the unique cars and driving them. When you go to shows and all you see is a sea of 53, 54s with desoto grills.. lol. I love my Packard and its imprefections and its lil rough edges of its life in the PNW, I left it shine. Everyone comes up passes the chevs and ford 401k cars to my old betty and shows her love.

Yea but its worth it when you go back and see that old core. It seems like just about everything on a pack is $500.00 bucks..
