Hello Folks,
I been trying to remove my spare tires from my 1934 Super Eight. Anyone know how to remove spare tire locks from side mount? My key appears to unlock the lock, however it just spins.
Appreciate any help.
Thank you

Unless something is broken internally, in one key position the hex spins free, and turning the key to the other position engages the hex to the threaded stud. It's nothing special, just a standard Oakes lock.

Yes,
I kept messing with it and the light bulb came on.
Got one off next one comes off at half time.
Thank you

Hope you're not an AZ fan.

This is the unit you're speaking of, I assume:
