Oil pump pickup screen replacement needed

Good Morning;
I am working on a 115-C Business Coupe (1088). It started with a valve job but I was advised that since the motor had sat so long, it was advisable to remove the pistons and clean the ring grooves. I removed the engine oil pan and while it was surprisingly free of sludge, the oil pickup screen has several holes in it. Where can I find replacement fine mesh screen? Would brass screen be a better replacement? Prying up the lip on the circumference of the screen form will be a challenge. Any tips on this project will be appreciated.
