A while back I posted about finding a dome light switch for my 41 Packard due to it being made from plastic no one seens to make one and if they do chances are they want crazy money for it... I measured the base of mine and started looking on line for a substitute switch came up with one from a model a ford nickel plated fits perfect works amazing total cost 14.00 dollars plus shipping....

The switch itself may also work as a good replacement for the later 51-54 dome light switches.
