This video was taken in Beverly Hills during the 1930's. Besides the fact that everybody seemed to drive wherever they wanted to with no lanes, there is a Packard that pulls up on the right and follows the camera car for awhile. It had dual side mounts, and the recognizable Packard grille.

Anybody want to take a stab at what year and series this Packard is?

Also, pay attention to the Huge rolls royce. Neat cars.

NEAtT- thanks for sharing. I like the scene at 1.30 minutes when the truck makes a left turn across on coming traffic and the car doesn't slow down, but swerves to avoid a crash.

It reminds me of driving in Italy several years except there where more cars in Rome.

There are two Packards that overtake the camera car and pass on the driver's left side. The one that overtakes about 15 seconds into the film looks like a Seventh Series or 1930 model year Packard, either a 726 or 733, best guess a 733. Note the optional "Daphne at the well," or "Adonis," or "sliding boy" radiator ornament.

The second Packard is two vehicles back as the first one passes the camera car. It has a visor around the roof's leading edge, typical of the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Series sedans. It appears to have bowl or bullet-shaped headlights, making it a Sixth Series or 1929 model year Packard, as above either a 626 or 633, but best guess a 626. Note the driver is a woman wearing a light-colored hat at a rather jaunty angle. Her hat could be indicative of a jaunty personality as she (dangerously) dangles her left arm out the window as she passes the camera car about 37 seconds into the film.
