If no one has a specific answer, a Google search should bring up torque settings for the thread size and pitch and that would be good to use. Typically I rarely use a torque wrench other than on heads or bearing caps, relying on feel and experience instead.

Packard did not issue much in the way of torque specs until postwar. Here is a listing from 48. I believe the rear ends are substantially the same design so if the bolts are the same size then I would expect the specs would be equally appropriate for a 37.
