Can someone with a '37 115 or 120 Convertible Coupe measure the length of their stock wiper arms and blades?
The ones I have are not adjustable and are too long. They are probably for a sedan vs the very short windshield on a convertible coupe. Thanks!

Old Trico catalogs show the blades as 6-1/4" and the arms as 5", unique to 1937 115C and 120C

Thanks guys.
Brian, does the Trico catalog give a part number for that 5" arm?

The Parts List shows it as group 31.387 and part number 311400 (pg 139)
However, Max Merritt shows it as 311401 as fitting all models. I guess you could give them a call and ask them to measure it? I tried to drop a link but it failed, type the 311401 number in and have a look. Bob J.

Just for information, on my touring sedan, the arms are 6.5" long w/ 8" blades. So, perhaps the original arms are adjustable?

When posting a link to a Max Merritt part, I have had luck by clicking on the blue "Details" link on the page that first shows up with many parts visible. The word is usually found next to a photo or blank space of the part you are interested in. When that detail page appears use it's link.

Kev, if nothing comes along there is a UK site that has wiper arms. After about the middle of the page are several different chrome arms that fasten with nuts. Description on some says they are mfg to Trico specs and work with 3/16 and 1/4 in shafts. Their short 140mm arm works out to 5.5 inches.

Closed cars used the longer AL-11 wiper arms which do have other applications such as various 1935 to 1940 GM brands. The adjustable AL-50 wiper arms are also listed for most brands but would be too long for the 1937 junior cars

Thanks all. I have some queries out to a few vendors. If nothing shakes out, I'll look at the UK company.
