G'day Sandy,
to PackardInfo.

Sorry can't help with your query, but could you please include your Packard, I presume that's what cormorant ornament is for, in the Owner Registry here together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it?

Hi Sandy,
1937 and 1938 Senior Accessory catalogs very clearly describe the ornament as a PELICAN.

I have seen some reproductions made in one piece with no detachable wings.

Original items have detachable wings...held in place by a screw that is 'up the butt'.

Keep Smiling...

Bob

hmm Ive been looking as you call it...'up the butt' of the Pelican to see how wings are attached. BUTT i can see no screw in that area..lolo..yet the wings are definately not cast into the body..hmm

There are three screws that hold the Pelican to the base..two in front and one into the underside of the tail.

G'day Sandy,

I've seen your 2 x '28's and '37 in the Owner Registry under the moniker of "Sanford", so

The matter of diverse posts under 2 or more Forum names may be something BigKev can fix.
