A previous thread advised of a number of Packards that went to Auction. Now the same consignor is sending further Packards to auction, this time most are in much better condition than those offered previously. A number have sold prior to auction and two are virtually spoken for. There were also about a dozen, what can only be described as very "Rusty Relics" and all but two of those have now gone to the Scrappers. The Packards will be amongst 60->90 cars going under the hammer by Advance Auctions. Viewing on Saturday 21st November, viewing and auction on Sunday 22nd November.
The Packards scheduled to go to auction were: 1922 RHD Black 6 Cyl Hearse 1922 RHD Green 126 6 Cyl Tourer 1924 RHD 226 Blue 6 Cyl Sport Tourer 1924 RHD 146 Red 8 Cyl 7 Passenger Tourer - Under offer 1929 RHD 8 Cyl Rusty Eight Rumble Seat Coupe - Sold prior to Auction 1939 RHD 120 Undercoat(was Cream) Convertible Coupe - Under offer 1946 RHD Blue Clipper 1946 RHD Blue Super Clipper 1946/47 RHD Blue Super Clipper Limo 1953 LHD Blue Patrician Sedan 1954 LHD Red Pacific Hardtop 1956 LHD Scottish Heather 400 Hardtop Coupe - Sold prior to Auction I've included photos of the still available Packards and one of the "Rusty Relics".
