Could someone tell me the thickness of the carburetor insulator on a 2106?

The insulators on my 2206 and 2306 are 3/8" thick. Same part number as 2106.

Thats interesting because vapor lock usually occurs on the "vacuum" side of the fuel pump, not the pressurized side of the pump. Liquids boil at lower temps in lower pressure, and higher temps at higher pressures.
This is why in/near fuel tank mounted pumps are used now as this keeps the line pressurized from the tank to the engine.
