Time approaching to replace the front brake shoes on my 1954 Packard Clipper Super Two-Door Club Sedan, 327CI, 165HP, L8.

The diameter of the front drums is 12 inches. The width of the brake shoes is 1 and 3/4 inches.

I purchased a set of shoes from NAPA, part number TS-264. This part number does not fit my car. The NAPA shoes are
2 and 1/2 inches wide and the curve radius does not match my currently installed shoes.

Does somebody out there in Packard-land know the correct brand and part number replacement brake shoes for my car. I currently have bonded shoes (no rivets) installed and would like to replace them with bonded shoes.

PS..if you know the brand/part number for the rear shoes for my car, that would be greatly appreciated, too.

Thanks again for all your assistance!

Probably not the cheapest way to go, but you can just order the correct new bonded shoes from Kanter. No core required so you'll still have the old shoes should you ever find some good old asbestos lining and chose to reline them.

I used NAPA TS-30 (I think) shoes on my car, check my blog recently for the minor mods I had to do to make them work. I will recheck the number in the morning when I can check my notes in the shop.
