Probably not the cheapest way to go, but you can just order the correct new bonded shoes from Kanter. No core required so you'll still have the old shoes should you ever find some good old asbestos lining and chose to reline them.

I used NAPA TS-30 (I think) shoes on my car, check my blog recently for the minor mods I had to do to make them work. I will recheck the number in the morning when I can check my notes in the shop.
