Looks like one in my car so would say 41-7 Clipper and maybe used thru 50. Not sure if same was used on the prewar conventional bodies. Customs and maybe Supers were chromed, others painted. Believe there should be a flat piece with clamp arrangement that goes over those slots.

Parking brake handle on Customs were chromed in the 23rd series but not in the 22nd series.

Interesting they skipped a year. They were chromed in 21st series too.

Great to know and a big thank you to all who responded! I was sure that something was to be attached to the holes but there is no sign on this NOS part that anything every had been.

Looked at the parts book for the 41-47 and they listed two, one chrome and the other painted.
