You need to use the 53 Clipper seals, which also used 12" brakes.
Special and Deluxe Clippers had 11" brakes. (same as '55 Clipper) Super Clippers had 12" brakes (same as '53 Clippers)

Parts book has the seal for 12" brakes as 329536. Here is a cross from a seal xref chart someone put together years ago.
329536: Victor 47159, C/R 7145, National 975. You might search the SKF interchange database to see if the old seal numbers cross to modern numbers. If there is a modern seal pay particular attention to the thickness or depth measurement as the Packard seals were fairly thin. The modern SKF cross given for the 47 Custom seal was too thick and stuck out of the hub recess too far. At one time the seal xref was on the a Stude club resource website but the original link does not seem to work.studebaker-info.org/Cb/MetalSealXch.txt. If anyone wants to search that site the exchange numbers list might still be posted only with a different address.studebaker-info.org

Harold, I believe the cr number should be 17145 and the
national 5975. Kevin, You posted in parts cross reference - national 6456 for 54 clipper only. The cross reference info is confusing because there is not enough detail. Has anyone actually replaced seals on a 54 Super Clipper, if so what is the manufacturer and number. Thanks
