Hello 29 tons:
For a good starting point you need to look here: nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1939/Packard/1701/Station-Wagon/Values "20 footer" condition = $50,200 Near 100 points = $121,800 Whenever anyone asks me about value I send them here: nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1958/Packard

I wouldn't send anyone to the NADA guides without a warning to take the values with skepticism. According to the guide, a 1939 1701 Station Wagon in comparable condition is less valuable than a 1949 Station Sedan. I don't think so.
The NADA guides show a significant price difference between the 1948 1949 and 1950 Station Sedans. It's exactly the same vehicle. Overall, I think the values quoted are very high in today's market. In any case, without detailed photos, even a gross ballpark figure is difficult to come up with.

Perhaps NADA's values for the 58 Packards are a bit high. But the 58 Packards have several things going for them, even if you are not fond of the car, namely low production numbers and the very last year of the use of the Packard nameplate. Those two are worth some premium.
