In a previous lifetime we used Locktite 660 when slip fits were looser than we liked or when one piece had even become a bit wallowed.. We also used it for keys in motor shafts that were slightly worn.
The product should work well for the oil fill pipe and is available several places. I would just apply it in a very narrow ring near the upper seat portion of the tube so it was nearer the surface of the block rather than coat the entire area that fits in the hole. loctite.sg/sea/content_data/93755_Loctit ... _Quick_Metal_Retaining_Compound.pdf

Maybe a muffler shop, giving it just a touch from their pipe ex pander if it goes small enough?

Just stipple with something like a center punch until you get a nice snug mechanical fit. Done it several times, very satisfactory method.

Thanks, will try some of the suggestions.
tolandis, I don't think that will work since there is a flap at the very bottom of the tube stopping from putting an ex pander in the bottom of the tube. Thank all! Wes

Forgot about that, have not looked at the tube for several years.
