I have the two flex lines for the front. Need the rear. Is the rear the same as the front flex lines? Has anyone crossed these to a more recent application? Thanks in advance. Steve

Even the most difficult situations can be learning situations.

You might check out the parts cross reference section and look at the numbers and comments others have posted to compare with what you have. Several say all 3 can be the same and I do believe the fronts will work in the rear in normal circumstances. A couple of posters have listed different numbers for the rear so you might check those two out and see if they are longer than the fronts you already have.

My own cross reference list has these:

1951-1956 rear Napa 11146
1951-1954 front Napa 11146

In other words, they are all the same for 1951-1954 Packard and Packard Clipper models.

For reference, 1948-1954 Henney-Packard uses these which are apparently the same as other 22nd and 23rd series models:

Napa UP 4497 front and rear

I used 11146 for all three hoses. It's worked great. Plenty of length on the rear one. I installed it with my axle hanging all the way down and it wasn't even close to causing a problem.

Looks like there's good replacements around but if you really want it exactly the original length you can always get one made quite inexpensively at a local hydraulics shop.
