Wat,
Typically Packard casting numbers are close to the actual part number often just one digit different. Using this "logic" looking in the 48-54 Parts List under Group 5.0000 Engine Parts, I found P/n 443651 an intake manifold for a '54 Cavalier and various 26th Series cars. WCFB: 985. With starter switch.
The Carburetor Shop in MO has a rebuildable core with a rebuild kit for $600 = $50 s/h. I suppose that it could hurt worse. That's about the price for a new Edelbrock.
