Anyone have a cross reference number for the front and rear U joints for a 1951 200 with standard transmission and overdrive? The parts X-Ref doesn't have the 51-54 series. Mine are clunking. thanks

Hi Dave,
I have a '51 200 though with the auto trans. I needed to replace the rear U joint and was able to go to Kanter, talk to Stewart Blond and get all the info I needed plus the correct U joint. Tuscon Packard works too, but we were mailing 3 incorrect u joints back and forth until we finally got the correct one. Hope this help you. Regards.

That might even be the best way to avoid the back and forth hassle. Hollanders lists 3 assys used on various 51-4 standard shift cars and only one of them mentions a direct cross -- an International Harvester tractor power take off or some such and probably as easy to find in stores as one labeled Packard.
