Exhaust valve differences?

In Kanter's on-line catalog, we find:

Exhaust Valve 1955-1956 Packard V8 - 352
Standard size valve stem, oversize inquire.
087446D

Exhaust Valve 1956-1956 Packard V8 - 374
Standard size valve stem, oversize inquire.
087446E

I know there are differences between '55 and '56 intake valves, but aren't exhaust valves the same?

Why would there be a difference between the '56 352" and 374", when they use the same head?

I tried calling Kanter for an explanation, but both lines were busy every time I tried.

Does anyone have one or more sets of exhaust valves for sale just now?

That's curious, Egge's catalog calls out the same exhaust valve for the 56 352 and 374, their #S2113.

Hi Jack,

Please feel free to PM if you ever have a question. The numbers that you see are computer generated part numbers or place holders on our website for each and every part that we supply whether it be Packard or another make. Fred did check and we the valves in stock in standard and in .003 oversize.

Thanks
