Easiest way is to buy or borrow the J6065 tool, it is rather plentiful within the 55/56 Packard community.

You can do it with chain but the tool is really the best and easiest way. I believe Troy at Michiana Packardsmichianapackard.com made another batch not too long ago and may still have some for sale. You could contact him and see.
