Hi, I have had the starter drive come out twice on my rebuilt autolite starter, the last time, making a clinking noise while it was running. I would like to switch to the delco, having heard it's the better of the two. Does anyone know of a modern starter that will fit my 320? Or have a good or rebuilt delco?

You will be happier with the Delco. Lighter & easier to get to the wires.

I made up some short jumper wires when reinstalling the Auto Lite starter on my 55 Clipper Super. This made reconnection to the existing wiring much easier.
