If rattle cans will satisfy your needs, you can obtain acrylic lacquer or enamel for just about any automotive color over the last 75 years or so from Tower Paint. Just give them the make & year of vehicle and the name of the paint color. I've used them a few times some years back for odd jobs like wheel rims and fender skirts, color matches were excellent.
Your rims were probably black on the inside, body color on the outside. apstowerpaint.com/

Packard used Naples Orange on the rims of cars that were painted black, yellow, or grey. A really good match for that is 84 Ford truck Bright Bittersweet. I have it on my 56 and it looks quite nice.
