Funny going back through some of these old issues of The Packard Cormorant and seeing my name as Regent at Large (now I would probably be a Large Regent), Secretary and even Vice President around 1980. So long ago.

Anyway, I just moved and unpacking where I've been coming across old issues. I know I have most, if not all, still packed away somewhere from circa 1976 and possibly a few other earlier issues that I got at the time so if anyone is looking for a specific issue or is interested in all (once I find them), please make an offer.

I've been searching for issues from 1966. My car is featured in a story. If you or any other member has that issue please let me know.

The Fall 1966 edition is still available from PAC.

If they don't have, then I would call the Packard Proving Grounds and see if they have it in their Library - ask for Bruce or Dave.

Thanks Roger for the information. I found I made a mistake. My car was in two Cormorants in the 1960's. One was in 1966 which I have a copy of. The other was the winter of 1965. That is the issue I'm missing. I had contacted Bruce a couple of years ago but he was not avle to help. If any one knows of a copy of The Packard Cormorant from the winter of 1965 please contact me.

Thanks

I just came across another issue that had gotten stacked with Cormorant News Bulletins:

1983, Autumn, No. 32 "City Spring" Artwork

This issue was published while I was the Secretary.

Features:
The Golden Anniversary Driveaway: Fifteen Hundred Bathtubs at Utica
Thirtieth Anniversary National Meet
Best of Show: 1934 Model 1101 Phaeton
I Break Into the Talkies from The Packard Magazine, 1929
Packard's Artists: Gustave Baumann
Personal Packards: The Rohlfing Stable

and much more.

As for the Cormorant News Bulletins, I have most from the late '70s into the mid-'80s with some as far back as the early '70s. 50 cents each plus postage.

Do you still have a copy of the Winter 1980/1981 issue? I understand there was an article about the 160 converible coupe. I would like to buy the issue or get a copy. Thanks.

If still listed, then I still have it but unfortunately I am hundreds of miles from home right now so can’t check the content. I can invoice you, though, to send when I do return so if you are still interested, please PM me. Note that I have virtually no Internet service where I am so please be patient if you don’t hear back right away!

Hi Mr. Pierson - i'm responding to a rather old post but, nothing ventured nothing gained, I suppose. I was curious if you still had the Cormorant Magazine issue "1987, Autumn, No. 48 1956 Caribbean." I'd be interested in that - and any other that you might have with the 56 cars.

Kind Regards

Yes, I still have most of the magazines but unfortunately they’ve been misplaced. Once I locate them again, I’ll post here.
